Afshaa Imani
Afshaa serves as a key connector and resource for the Office of Community Engagement. Her outreach work helps link people, projects, and purpose while boosting overall community engagement.
In her role, Afshaa manages the OCE website and intranet, and she coordinates the Doorway to Resources platform, overseeing intake form inquiries and educational material requests. She also supports OCE’s regional forums, community tabling efforts, and other special projects.
Afshaa joined Stanford after relocating from Vancouver, British Columbia, where she was the Coordinator of the Alumni Welcome Center at the University of British Columbia (UBC). At UBC, she led a team of 25 student ambassadors and played a key role in event and facility coordination. Her portfolio included large-scale programming such as graduation ceremonies, homecoming, the BC Tourism Challenge, and campus tours—demonstrating her strong background in alumni engagement and project management.
