Joel Berman

Joel works with the Offices of Community Engagement, Government Affairs and University Communications, in coordination with Land, Buildings and Real Estate and other university stakeholders, to plan and implement communication strategies and programs supporting the university’s engagement with local and regional communities. He oversees communications related to community engagement, land use and local government.

Prior to Stanford, Joel managed a successful State Assembly campaign on the Peninsula. served as communications and policy director for a clean technology venture capitalist, and worked on a variety of local, state and national political campaigns. Joel holds a BS in Political Science from Santa Clara University.
