Climate Summit for San Mateo County

The Fourth Annual Climate Summit for San Mateo County  returned to Stanford at the Redwood City Campus in 2025. Stanford University was honored to co-present the summit with support from the Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability, the Haas Center, the Office of Government Affairs and the Office of Community Engagement.

Stanford co-presented  Canopy’s Symposium, Planting Hope: Planning for Equitable and Resilient Urban Forests in the Bay Area. Drew Brown, Stanford Landscape Architect and Campus Planner, shared Stanford’s tree care work; and Professors Nicole Ardoin and Chris Field were both part of the program.

Joint Venture Silicon Valley and Stanford co-presented the State of the Valley Conference at McCaw Hall, the first time the event has been held in north Santa Clara County.
