Global Inquiries
International representatives can contact the Office of Community Engagement (OCE) with global inquiries. OCE does not initiate international partnerships directly, but where possible, we can help connect external parties to meet with faculty and staff in mutual areas of interest. Please clearly identify specific mutual goals and objectives that may align with Stanford academic priorities and – more specifically – align with faculty-led research and projects to assist your request. OCE requires a minimum of one-month's lead time to facilitate a potential visit with an academic purpose.
If you are visiting solely to tour the campus, we welcome you to explore the self-guided resources to tour the campus’ community spaces and public art.
If your visit involves high-level international dignitaries such as foreign heads of state, heads of government, ambassadors, or senior ministerial officials, please contact the Office of Special Events & Protocol (OSEP) to explore these opportunities before proceeding with any itinerary or logistics at Stanford. Multiple dimensions for high-level visits need to be considered, in accordance with OSEP guidelines. Stanford departments considering hosting a high-level visit can refer to OSEP’s planning page for more information.
